spam-o-rama and Asuka.

Had to lock the spam-o-rama as people are getting posts counts for it and thats not meant to happen, oddly, i can't turn it off which is unusual. Once the post count is off i will unlock the spam o rama.

I was supposed to lock the Asuka part too, given the asuka mod is geting replaced and that acts as a new spam-o-rama section.

as i view it post count only represents who is regular and is here often
why does everyone see it as a competition
i found out i was 100 on the list of people who post regarding post count am i bothered not really
but asuka was here really often but why bother locking it now it was fine

Its not so mucha competition it just looks weird when people have abnormal amounts of spam. Post count is supposed to distinguish noobs from the heros, ya know, those who've bin around for a while and have some real insight, not for those who have just made 2000 posts from typing a, b, c or 2001, 2002, 2003... all over...

I know cinder wouldn't be happy if people were getting post counts and i've contacted him bout the matter too.

ACF could be completly closed down whilst its re-vamped, but my brother doesn't wish to do that. So he is leaving it open as he updates it. Soon enough the mods will be back and better :)

I really don't see what the matter with getting post counts for spam-o-rama. It's not like it really counts for anything anyways.
Spam has some good stuff that when everything else has basically been done on the rest of the forum, it's fun to relax there (that DOES happen...exprecially when you have no life and is on for 10 hrs straight)
