Error 404! Ctrl-Alt-Del!

This is a very important announcement. EVERYONE MUST READ THIS.

Seriously.

Users of this here fine forum will come to understand that from now (and probably for the next week or so), ACF will be undergoing a BIG change.

This BIG change is in part to me deciding to swap over from phpbb3 to the much, much better vBulletin software for the forum. I kept this very quiet because I didn't know when exactly it was going to happen. But, it's happening now. :p

As soon as I can, I will post more information about the update, such as what's happening, what's new, what's gone, what needs to be changed and done. etc.

For those of you who are curious as to what vBulletin holds for the forum, check out the vBulletin website for more information on the forum software.

Also, for those who have recently clicked the 'donate' button on the site, this update couldn't have taken place without you and your help. You know who you are. ^_^

Announcement:: REVIEWS!!!!!!!

I am slow... ;)

Just for those of you who are browsing the site anew (and for those that aren't) GO AND CHECK OUT THE REVIEWS THAT HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED!!!

There's so many reviews submitted that I can't even begin to list them here. But, it's safe to say that the Reviews section is back to stay, and glad to see the updated submission system is working well. ^^

If you haven't read any of the reviews, do so now! You may become enlightened to something you'd never even heard of before.

And many thanks to Takai for reviewsing the submissions and for all of those who submitted them. ^_^

Announcement:: The Reviews Forum is back open!

It's been a long time coming... ;)

After (literally) months and months the time has finally come. ACF is once again accepting and submitting anime and manga reviews!

^_^

I know it's taken me a long time to sort out what appears to be a small task and I apologise :( but sometimes it is best to take your time than rush something.

The re-opening of the reviews couldn't have been done without assistance and help from long-time dedicated member, anime guru and general insomniac Takai! So many thanks to Takai, our new Reviews Editor, for her hard work! ^^

If you want to submit a review; please make sure you check out the rules and guidelines for submitting a review before submitting a review to Takai. ^_^

Oh, and finally, periodically I will update this FrontPage with news of new reviews that have been submitted.

Announcement:: Banners ... Again!

Yet another slow and somewhat pointless FrontPage Announcement. ^_^;;

I am proud to announce that (finally) the banners submitted for the AcidTech theme are up and running on the board for all users of that theme. YAY! ^_^

Yet again, all thanks to Takai and Montreal in taking time and effort to come up with the beautiful artwork for the site. ^^

If you think you could make some banners for CodeBlack or AcidTech, or want to design some banners for Glacier, the next theme on the list, feel free to PM me or look at the ACF Banners Suggestion Thread for some more details.

Announcement:: Banners

Hi all ACFers!

It's been a month since the last update on this here page so I thought I'd throw together a quick one just to keep everyone awake and aware. ^_^

Firstly, the new and upcoming FrontPage is -almost- complete. (yay ^^) And hopefully we should have that up sometime soon. . . . i.e. sometime next year. xD

Secondly, Montreal and Takai have been incredibly kind to create some site banners for the forum. We now have a script running on the forum which randomly loads one of a number of banners each time someone (you) load a page on our forum; currently these banners only work for CodeBlack but banners are being made for AcidTech, and will be set up soon.

Please give many thanks to Montreal and Takai for their fantastic contributions for the forum and its community!

If you think you could make some banners for CodeBlack, or want to design some banners for AcidTech, feel free to PM me or look at the ACF Banners Suggestion Thread for some more details.

Announcement:: Expected Downtime!

This is just a small announcement to make sure that our members know that within the next day or two, ACF will be down.

I have decided to change the server our site is being run on, in order to have certain system requirements for some features I have planned for the forum, however this will mean that during the transfer the site will be unavailable.

eHostPros (Our service provider) has told us the transfer will give ACF a downtime of 24-48 hours, depending on when they start the transfer. In advance I apologise for this, but it is a necessary update.

I hope that everyone will stick around and will return when the site is back up and running. ^_^

Announcement:: New Forum!

Yes, it's finally done. After a week of intensive and sometimes frustrating tinkering, downloading, uploading and modifying, we FINALLY have ourselves a brand-new and non-buggy board, with the latest version of phpBB installed.

Yay! ^_^

Updates are still doing on however; our work is not yet done. For those of you that remember the site of old (^^;) we promise that the Shoutbox and our beloved chatbox Asuka will be restored A.S.A.P.

We are also trying to bring new features to the forum. Please check our the Suggestions Forum, and please tell us what you want to see here.

We will do our utmost best to bring to this forum everything great. ^_^

Announcement:: SITE UPDATE!!!!!!!!

This has come around on very short notice even for myself, and I've only just managed to be able to get this up.

But.

The site is being updated! (hopefully). Work is being attempted on upgrading the forum to the latest version of phpBB (and shortly after everything else will follow in updates also), and this notice is simply to say that for the next few days the forum may be down randomly and for long periods of time whilst updates are in progress.

I apologise for this. I'm hoping that work on the forum will be done as quickly as possible and that it will be accessible within the next day or two.

Please bear with us! This update is worth the wait!!! (I hope. ^^;)
